Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
I have an Avalon by Astoria Bay. I did have one circuit board get fried the last time we had a power spike, but Power Co got to buy it, not the stove's fault. No other problems. It runs from Oct/April constantly and burns about 5 tons/winter. Keeps 2800 sq ft toasty warm. We clean it once every week or two, takes about 10 minutes. I've had it for several years now and really like it. I'd never go back to wood. Pellets here cost about $200/ton for premium Doug Fir pellets, sometimes less if I buy a truckload direct and split it with someone. It is pretty nice to go get 'firewood' once a year, load and unload it with a forklift.
