It would need a high pressure pump to use with a fuel injected gas engine.
Those are mounted inside the fuel tank.
The engine mounted pumps before fuel injected days had a return line back to the tank.
On a diesel pickup the fuel is plumbed into the filler tube. I would assume a gasoline truck could be plumbed the same way. It just fills up the stock tank until the aux tank runs dry.
Your thoughts on using one of these in a gasoline pickup?.
