North Central Kansas | We have finished the first field of DC soybeans last night. We have to cut another field so we can put it on the other hopper so we have a load, or at least both hoppers will have some in them. We caught several rains that you guys to the South missed. Our yields went anywhere from just under 20 to just under 50. The better beans were on the bottoms where the trees protected them from the hot winds.
We finished drilling wheat Tuesday on ours. We started on the neighbors yesterday. We had .20 of rain last night. but were able to go this evening. I just came in from running the air seeder out so we can order the last load of fertilizer. Will be glad to be done with that job. Hope to finish the DC beans this weekend and get into the milo. North of me I have heard some milo yields in the 90's. From what I have heard a lot is in the 50-60 range.
