Do a little research. The calorie burn from lifting continues for many hours, maybe up to a couple days, as the muscle regeneration process happens. You are certainly on the right track working different muscle groups. I only dabble in that stuff from about December to March, and I do some running during the winter too, it does make a difference.. Nice to go back into the busy season in shape.
