Central Kansas | My DC beans that I planted around the 10th of June were a real BIN BUSTER, very little rain, HEAT and an early freeze brought in a whopping 4 bu per acre. May planted ran in the teens but did have one field of 20 acres that made 29. I think you got some late Summer rains that we didn't get, would have had better crops here, especially with out the freeze 4 weeks ago,...............now tomorrow night we are to get our second freeze but the damage has already been done. | |
