| Does anyone have any experience with a feeding pad?
My understanding is after youlevel and shape the ground, you put down fabric then 3 or more inches of inch and half gravel then lime on top of that. Then pack it down. Supposed to set up like concrete, but better on the cows feet and legs.
In my area the soil and water conservation puts these out on a cost share basis, they call them high use areas. There meant for winter feeding areas. I have seen one that was built on these terms but it barely had enough room for the cows to stand on let alone the bunk.
