| Just deleted a rather harsh reply. You have already made what I consider a mistake, but you certainly have the right to choose :).
You mentioned a vaulted ceiling. You may benefit from a second vent in the end of the vault to take away the smoke that will get up there (I didn't say might). Sometimes you really don't need the capacity of an adequate hood. For the times you do, flip on the auxilliary fan. | |
