I don't remember the number of months-------- seems like it is 48.

There are varying periods--------- mine is 10years.

But at + - 30.00 a month for four years protection.............not bad........and that is the premium for a smoker.   I think the other guys are at 20. / month.

Remember........these guys are also covered by workmens comp also............and I also provide about 50K of term life ins.....

........so, if they are not back to work by 48 months, and workmens comp is not paying them for life-------- they probably will be dead, and will collect the life ins.

And, remember that if total or even partial disability........kids get paid until 18 by Social Security, and you will collect some while disabled.

Kinda cold........but none had anything until they hired on.

By the way.........this is a good reason for incorporating, and paying yourself a salary.  That keeps the social security benefits intact..........even if the business is struggling.
