Litchfield, NY | Sounds like they got up and going well. The filter that is $220 is 84386217 and is a complete silver SS inline filter assembly. Part number 84587401 is the screen and cap portion of the previous part number and it is only $110. I beleive this is the filter you said was 10-20% plugged at times. Did they say they found a crack in the sensor/sending unit that drops in the tank? Was it missing a red vent cap? What is your serial number if you don't mind? Sorry for the delay, been busy with Magnums and combines here. By the way if you have operators manual 84348262 the main filter is shown on page 7-97. There is a new ops man 47372467 and it is on page 7-104.
