We had a load of plastic drains installed last week. They used a self propelled trencher on tracks that must have been all of 100hp and the best part of 30 years old. A friend of mine does a lot of drainage and has used a JD 6430 in the past, but now has a JD6630. He's not going 5 feet deep, maybe nearer 4 or just a bit under, but he doesn't need 300hp.
where abouts is your friend with the 6630 wich is still not a lot bigger just 6cyl.
