I have not seen a non paying response yet in research but then again we have not reached the "wall" yet. this year i plan to plant them as late as Oct 20 to see. Have you planted them late on your farm in replicated research? Since we get a wheat response about 75% of the time planted in Oct, why might that not possibly translate to other crops? We need more tests to validate the late planting of any cover crop. It does seem that mixes make the planting window longer. I try to make farmers aware of the risk involved in any suggestions that are made. We still have a lot to learn.
