You are in the last week of opportunity in Central Missouri. If you can precision plant you need sugar beet or small milo plates set to plant 4" in-row spacing. 15" rows is ideal and would give you a 4 lb per acre seeding rate. I'd suggest 8lbs drilled this late. A companion crop is great but i'd need to know what you are trying to accomplish, etc to make suggestions. Triticale, cereal rye, vetch are possibilities. I'd reduce the radish rate if planting a companion...
