SE PA
Here in SE PA i've gotten an 8 bu corn yield bump planting Tillage RAdish Oct 9th the previous fall. A farmer in northern IN planted some the first week of Oct and also got an 8 bu corn yield bump 3 years ago. Yes, it's late but as far south as you are I'd go for it this week yet. It is borderline. Tillage Radish planted late will be harder to winter kill which is in your favor as well- probably 3-4 nights in the mid teens.
