I'd take his advice and write it down cause he'll get so tired of beating his head against the wall where he's at he'll come home and practice.
Not enough beef cattle around here for him to get sick of that kind of thing. Actually one of the reasons he is here is because he got sick of beating his head against the wall out west trying to help big outfits make money and them not taking his advice. He said there was a huge feedlot that he tried getting to preg incoming heifers because they were losing like 20 a month to calving difficulties in the feedlot and they wouldn't do it, despite him showing them that it would save them 20k a month to do it. I asked why they didn't just lut them and he said sometimes they're too far along for that to work. |
