I rented a machine from Lowe's to put insulation in the walls of our den, use to be our garage, They furnished a 2" bit to drill hole at top of wall between studs, I ran the hose down the hole to the bottom of the studs and the machine pumped the insulation in. After it was full of insulation they had a plug you put in the hole. Put a little plaster on the plug and you couldn't" see it.
