whitesville new york | Yeah I just talked to the nutritionist. He said with a 550$ per ton protien mix and he played with things and said the best it looked was .18$ per cow a day we would gain. Now I scoop feed each cow and he thought I could easily over grain and didn't think the extra milk would be there. He also said he thought I would run into problems In may with it heating, because I only have a 50 cow herd. I called the neighbor and told him if some1 else wanted to let them have it and if he got in a bind with some stuff that won't dry down I could help him out. I got some and have good luck putting it in the shed on concrete or wagons throughout the winter. I just thought things would look better on paper than it does. | |
