The zero adjust on the front may not get the needle centered after a new load cell. So find the middle of its travel and then adjust the one underneath to center the needle. That way you have enough range up and down to balance the scales when theres some feed hung up inside, snow frozen on it etc.
Can you tell me how these feed wagon scales work? (pics)
