Grandfather came to southeren Alberta first after WW2, but was not enough room for him and 3 sons ( cheap dutchman) so came north to the peace country and here we are. The farm I live on my grandparents and my dad bought it in 1965 the rest of the family moved out when my mom and dad got married in 1968. I moved out in the fall of 1996 and moved back in 2006, when mom and dad bought a house in town (2.5 miles from the farm). Just a little side note my dad and his brothers all lived on farms within 1 mile of each other, all on the highway.
