I moved quite a distance from the main farm, around 6 miles! We were offered this farm from a retiring dairy farmer. The rest of my family i farm with said it was too far away, too rocky, etc...so i bought it by myself. Now they are buying and renting land all around this farm!! I guess its worth a 6 mile drive for far better soil.
