I live on the farm dad bought in '65. He owned a feed mill and when he sold it, he bought 500 acres and started farming. I tagged along from the time I was old enough. Dad and mom divorced and dad remarried so I began to purchase land from him to protect myself from brothers/step-brothers. Looks like it's going to work. All paid for now. Dad's retired but still works everyday at something. he loves to shell corn and plant beans. He likes to pull a scraper and build/rebuild waterways and terraces too. I'm gonna miss having him around to lighten my workload when he can't work any more.
