Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
A chisel plow in ND, has much stronger frame / shanks with wider spacing than a field cultivator. Tool points on a chisel plow can be anything from a spike to an 18 inch sweep, depending on what is the intended job.

Anyone remember the old IH Vibrachisel ? An attempt to make a machine to do both the job of a chisel plow and a field cultivator.
