Lived my life on the same farm.  Dad was older and wanted to retire.  Fortunately I bought when prices and interest was such you could buy and pay for a farm in 25 years.  When dad passed away mom went to a nursing home for 10 years and burned up any money that would have been left.  Lot of people probably think we had the place given to us and wonder why it took so long for us to renovate the house and do some other things.  Now with one foot on a banana peel and the other headed for eternity we've got stuff paid for and are still working.   It's hard to break old habits.

It's my hope that I have a heart attack while working here or die in my sleep.  I've no desire to leave and especially don't want to sit in a nursing home.
