On a weekend went to jewelry store to buy wife a birthday gift. Had on old jeans/flannel shirt/wore out boots. Told clerk I was looking for birthday gift : necklace with a cross. She shows me one for $19.95. Told her wife was probably expecting something more sturdy, so she show me one for $29.95. I smiled and said show me one you really like in the $700 range.
