Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | For the last several years my grandpa only went in the hog pens by himself if he had some kind of weapon just for that reason. I don't know that it would have helped if he fell and got knocked out, but a hammer, electric prod, snare, etc gave him a little security.
That would be a really awful way to go if the victim wasn't knocked out. Either way, it's an awful way to find out somebody went.
