Somewhere in North central Iowa | Sorry to hear. I remember going for drill parts a few years ago only to come home to find my "flood dog" had died. I adopted her in 1993 so Buddy was the flood dog! She died in 2008 so she made it from flood to flood. The indoor terrier ( Whimpy) was a package deal that came with the wife. I HATED that dog while we dated but after getting married it became my best friend. Now he is 17 I think and can't hear at all. The kids love him but his days are numbered. NOT looking forward to what you went through...
