NW Central Ohio | ....Did the vet say it was between some bones? Have you heard of a ganglion? It's a cyst that will form in your wrist or ankle between the bones...and limits the movement of the joint. I had one in my wrist when I was in my teens...and burst it playing football. Just fell on it with the right pressure and it burst. Then it grew back...and I burst it again in my 20's when I smacked a dolly handle for a semi-trailer just right. It never came back after that. Ask your vet if you think the cyst is giving the dog pain...or whether it's just inconvenient..and limits the travel of the joint. If it isn't giving it pain...you might just hold off and see what happens with it. | |
