Strathcona, mn
I've never been around a r62, but have a 1990 r60 and a 92' deutz r72 and a 96' 350hp m11 cummins. All of them have been hyperized..... in easy to thresh crops they are all really close in capacity. In hard to thresh crops, ie heavy wet wheat the hp shines..... It is amazing a little gleaner can outperform much larger machines. In corn we are seeing 2600-2700 bushels per hour on the r72 without losses..... It is hard to drive fast enough with a 8r30 corn head to hit 2600 bushels per hour. I would guess that by hyperizing you will see around a 20-30% capacity increase in most crops withot adding any loss. It isn't much for the 96' r72 to run a 36' draper in 70+ bushel wheat at close to 5mph pushing out 1500bph. Keep the semi trucks moving.
