Any pertinent reason for a discbine blade only having two "cutting blades"?

up the idea of putting sickle blades on a spinning the disk.....the kid that usually runs the sickle bar cutter now looked like someone had just kicked him in the groin, and said.........but, but, but what if one breaks and goes spinning towards the seat!!??

I think the cutter would be low enough compared to the high boy seat that such would not be a problem-------but I don't need to buy another two tires for that machine........didn't realize such skinny tires could carry such a big price tag, even for cheap tires.

But the use of the swinging blades on the spinning disk seems more and more the way to fly.........still concerned that the "lawn mower blade" could tangle in residue more easily than the disk.
