In Kansas you'll see alot of buffalo grass. There is blue stem. Side oats gramma. Brome.
That's about all the ones I can remember from grass school. It's merely a bare start. We learned to identify over 40 species of native grass if I remember correctly. It was mighty informative, but like everything, don't use it, loose it.
