Guymon, OK | I think we've all been there, Tnfarmer. Right at the beginning of wheat harvest in 2011 we had to replace the fan belt on the 2388, then the starter on the Volvo truck quit. While we were waiting on truck parts a steel oil line burst on the combine, then the water pump went out, and when Dad got the starter on the truck replaced the injector pump crapped out. I could go on about all the other mechanical problems that year, but I'd probably run into a character limit. | |
