Iowa | Harvest half over and no fall tillage done yet seems ahead of normal to me, it's SEPTEMBER!!! Maybe not in step with the neighbors, but look at the calender!!
To OP- hang in there, innovate, do without as much as possible, and don't cave in to temptation and say, "I'm tired of this, I'm gonna spend some $$ like I had it to ease my life, I deserve it". Not saying you would, but I've seen it many times--guys give in, spend $$ they shouldn't have, and situation is just worse in the long run.
If you have a well-crafted financial plan/roadmap worked out, stay the course and eventually you'll be WAY ahead of those who fly by the seat of their pants/make decisions based on emotion.
NOTHING worth having ever comes easy. I remember 25 yrs ago having 2 similar tractors and no $$ for a set of batteries so I moved the set I had back and forth. Seems unbelievable now but at the time it kept me going, working towards my goal. Haven't reached that goal yet but getting a lot closer..... | |
