Subject: Re: bookkeeping question

Near Richmond, IN
I'm currently using FarmWorks but it's been a pain to learn. Not too bad now though. I think for most smaller operations that don't want to get into too much detail, other than what is required for taxes, then one of the mass marketed ones would work. Probably quicken or quick books, I'm not sure of the difference. Main thing is to enter data often to keep current. If you use it to print most of your checks that will help keep you current. Also, so far, I've always done my own taxes. After a few times it's not too difficult to keep up from year to year. Had someone else do mine one year and found mistakes he made that I wouldn't have made so I went back to doing my own.
