N FLA | Yes, we ignore all the work of soil test index, and expected response, and assume that there is a linear relationship between ppm or lbs/acre and yield response, or build up rate. Neither exists. Calcium is an important soil and plant nutrient. Seems like everyones map has a different scale to emphasize the variability of their farm. ALL the research divided soil test values into 5 classes, often with very little difference in expected yield response.
