frederick, MD | AFX rotor, it makes a world of differance. If your 66 has worn elephant ears on front the rotor that will hurt performance alot. But the afx rotor it really feeds the stuff in smoothly. We have cut beans that are literaly green beans, looked like lima beans coming out of the auger. Of course not much, but around the edge of fields with lots of stink bug damage the beans stay green, every leaf still on them
Before spending money on the Afx rotor I would check to make sure your machine is feeding evenly. We found that beans where not going up the feeder evenly, so we put rice slats, which have teeth on them, on every 3rd slat of the feeder chain. This helped a lot.
