Very hilly and not a straight row on anything we own. Everything is contoured. Sidetracking on the hill and turning in all the point rows would slaughter a ton of corn. Most fields are such a pain that I use full rates of pre herbicides hoping to not have to spray post much less sidedress. If my fields were flat or at least square I would definitely give sidedressing a shot.
Why aren't more acres of corn sidedressed?
