Subject: And the answer

North of London
As I said there is no correct answer.
The radio discussion/interview was about time and how a person perceives it.
Waiting 5 minutes in the rain for a ride can seem like an hour.
A quick lunch with someone you like and good conversation seems like an hour goes by in 5 minutes.

So back to the rescheduled meeting.
Both answers Monday and Friday are correct.
As some indicated that is a good reason to state an exact date to remove the confusion.

Rough explanation from the show;
Reasons why people choose Monday or Friday has to do with how they perceive time.
If they are looking ahead in time they think it meant Friday.
If they tend to look back at time they think it meant Monday.

That is a simple explanation and I never thought about how anyone 'perceived' time before.

Think this survey agreed with the person on the radio that said when she asked that question of an audience they pretty well split 50/50.
