NEMO | One person makes the rules for that church/community. Rules vary from community to commumity. No indoor plumbing there/indoor plumbing here. No chainsaws here/chainsaws there. Limited to a 2 row corn planter/ 3 or 4 row somewhere else. Etc....

A lot of 'old' money in the Amish. Know one that recently bought a farm and worried about getting financing at our local bank. Talked to him after it was over and he ended up 'borrowing' it all from aunts/uncles cousins and grandparents, didn't need the bank after all. They live pretty cheap though. Big gradens, no 'dish tv payment' every month, etc. | |
