If this is a "once in a lifetime occurrence",  someone must have a very short life.  What about the massive buyouts in 1986 and later?  What about the last time corn price spiked?   I remember hearing a lot of dairy guys complaining and looking for a handout (and getting it too).  Seems like every dairy crisis is a once in  lifetime occurrence.

If the dairy industry wants higher prices, produce less.  I have a BS degree in Agricultural Economics and I can assure you that the law of supply and demand works very well yet.
