West Central MN | I think the drying costs in your example are too low.
We combined about 120 acres in the last two days at an average of 26 percent moisture. I am figuring that it will cost about 20 cents per bushel to dry this down.
Very wide moisture swings throughout the field. Lowest we saw anywhere was 21 percent and the highest was 33 percent.
