WC MN | I agree. Mentality seems to be why dry corn on September 10th? Even though its warm and corn will dry quick with cheap propane and you will harvest more bushels. I'm starting at 28%. Much easier to harvest/chop/manage corn that is still standing instead of coming back in 2 or 3 weeks and seeing cobs on the ground and stalks broke off. More bushels boosts APH for next year too. Gives me a head start on next year as well by getting fields worked and drained how I want them. Never know when the rain/snow is coming up here either. | |
