Well, we get what we got.  What more do you expect when we nominate Presidential candidates who promise  to balance the budget by reducing all individual income-tax rates by 20%, eliminate the Alternative Minimum Tax and the estate tax,  and offset the resulting revenue loss by limiting tax breaks (unspecified)?
