| With so many obese children I can see why the govt. is doing this. Obese kids end up having a plethora of health problems down the road and if we are all going to be on govt. health care eventually the govt. WILL be telling us what we can/can't eat/do somewhere down the line. If you think the govt. is going to pay for everything but still let you make your own choices you haven't read history. Our family runs on the very thin side and my jr. high son is active and plays football. He is starving by the end of the day. So for him this reduced portion program has ill effects, I definitely do not need him losing weight. But keep in mind the govt. has to make decisions for the "greater good". We've sit back and allowed these things to happen, to jump on the road to socialism, we've voted them in. Now they are acting on their beliefs and its going to be about impossible to give us back our freedom. | |
