WCIN
I am paying $10/mo per radio for use of a local repeater and own my own radios. Never really checked the range we are getting but know for sure they are reaching 20 mi mobile to mobile. There is a whole pile in my shop of obsolete uhf GE and Motorola radios and a 100 watt GE repeater that is all good but worthless because of the new fcc regs. I would attemp to "whittle" them down on the price for a several radio system or ask for a "vacation" price in the off seasons when use will be minimal.
