Bred cows are not a bargain yet. I dont' know who's buying them and where they are going but they are selling pretty good given there is no grass and little hay put up within 200 miles. There was a quoute by a ole guy in the Rapid City Journal that said " Calf prices will be strong but unless you tie a bale of hay around the neck of the cow she's gonna be hard to sell".
