Michigan. | The MIL is on her third one.
First one lasted a couple months. The replacement worked for a year and the battery went dead, and wasn't covered by warranty. It was almost cheaper to buy another whole unit than just another battery so she got the third one.
The thing does a decent job when it's not stuck under a chair or hung up on a rug.
If you have a wood stove, keep an eye on it. They melt easy.
If you're into gadgets, it might be fun for you.
If not, they make for a good exercise in patience.
