Southern IA | I think bred cows through the end of the year are the ticket. If we get good moisture this winter, heavy breds and pairs in the spring will be crazy, and even to hold through next year, as we keep killing off the calf factories, calves are going to continue to be in good demand. Plus, all this drought silage will pretty much take a cow all the way to spring grazing without much of any supplement if put up green. | |
