Palestine Texas | I'm not familiar with NH but have has similar problems with JD and the old Hesston style Case balers. Both where because of starter roller. The Case baler had rubber flaps on the starter roller that just had to be changed. The JD balers have metal starter rollers, on these I just run a couple of sloppy welds on it to rough it up some. It doesnt sound like much but it really helps when your having trouble getting it to start. Im not sure how the NH starter roller is designed, hope this helps.
