northwest tennessee | I have a long field that I cut hay on but only cut it once this year and I let it grow. It looks pretty good and has alot of grass and clover that has seeded out. It also has some weeds and every once in a while some alfalfa that is mature. I am moving the wire up everyday and letting them graze for 2.5 hours late in the afternoon. I noticed they are eating alot of the weeds but leaving the alfalfa everytime seems like. Your cows look like they are doing well on weeds. This crap keeps on and we might learn to like them too. | |
