Driftless SW Wisconsin | I don't like to spray pastures for the same reason - it kills the clover. I don't make hay with it but i do like red clover in the summer as it comes on strong when other grasses are done. I interseed it into grass pastures with a no till drill. As far as I have seen it is about the best thing to have in a good strong mixed grazing pasture. I have never seen a bloat problem with it, probably as there is still a lot of other forage in each mouthfull.
