S.E. Iowa | In our experience,[we have 9] they like the mulberries first, rag weeds second, the rest of the brush third, poision ivy fourth and grass last! they can smell holes in the fence, will often runback thru the fence where they got out. We feed ours bread as candy when they get out they will follow you back in. Watch out petting them as they very readily will give off poison ivy. Very hard to herd so the bread often will lead them into a trailer. Our dog will herd them well if the bread doesnt work. Great complementary graziers! | |
